Suspend Feature?

Asked by spidermagicat

Is there a way to get this to run from suspension. I really like it and would like to use it without running my computer all night.

ACPI Wake.
I've asked a question about that and was assured that the feature will be implemented. Though no time frame was mentioned.

Yes, but...

It's VERY hard to implement that, I am using old computer and my mobo doesn't support that, so I just can't do it. The answer is: when I'll buy a new computer, and if it's possible in Python.

It is possible in Python using the interface that lets you make ioctl calls. You can set the RTC wakeup time. I guess you make sure that alarm clock gets notified every time you suspend/shutdown/resume/startup to look in its database and write the next alarm to the rtc.

Can you help with this problem?
