Pause button for the Timer

i have a suggestion. i'm putting it here as i'm not exactly sure where it should go (Bugs or Questions).

If there's a Snooze button for the Alarm, there should be a Pause button for the Timer =)

The reason is: many times when i run a Timer, somewhere during the countdown, my attention is needed elsewhere and the Timer needs to be paused so that i can continue the countdown later. Without the Pause button, i have to restart the Timer instead of continuing where i left off.

similar desire but somewhat different use case.

Create timers to allocate time I'd like to devote to different tasks during the day. eg:
30 min review email
60 min review background materials for meeting
60 min prepare materials for meeting
60 min search for solutions to challenge X
60 min respond to email issue 1
etc...

Those are the fixed allocations I want to be sure to devote time to for the day. Interruptions can cause diversion from any of them at any time. Having the ability to pause the timers will allow me to easily keep track whether the time I feel needs to be committed to each task is being applied and become aware if I am getting off track.
