Wallpaper doesnt change with time.

Hi,

I am using the bisigi airlines theme and love it. I live in India where we woke up by 6 a.m. However the wallpaper of the theme doesnt change anytime. It remains same 'the night wallpaper' throughout the day.

I have tried the solution given in the one of the post to edit the airlines.xml file and replace the lines but it didnt worked. I saved and rebooted the system but the theme doesnt change the wallpaper in a day.

Please provide me solution , how to rectify this. Which values i need to change in the xml file ? only one line or more lines ?
I love this theme and want to show my friends as well.

Thanks for the kind words!
Can you try to go in wallpapers selector (system->preferences->appearance)
Then click on 'add' and enter this:
/usr/share/backgrounds/airlines/airlines.xml
It could solve your problem

I did the same as you have mentioned but still it didnt solve the issue. The wallpaper doesnt change with the time, still the night wallpaper is there . What should I do now ?

Shall I reinstall the theme ?

Hi,

Yes can you try to uninstall the theme and reinstall it. If it doesn't work, try again to do:
wallpapers selector (system->preferences->appearance)
Then click on 'add' and enter this:
/usr/share/backgrounds/airlines/airlines.xml
It could solve your problem

Hi,

I have uninstalled the Airlines theme and installed it again, then added the airlines.xml file as you instructed but still the problem didnt resolved :-(

What should I do now , I want this theme to work.
Is there is anything else that I can do for it to work for me ??? Has anybody else faced the same problem ?

Do you have the same issue with contest and cosmos wallpapers? (installed by default in ubuntu 10.10)

Hi,

I have checked the both wallpapers i.e Contest & Cosmos but they worked and changed the slideshow time to time. I am using Ubuntu 10.10 on my laptop.
Only facing the problem with Airlines theme wallpaper.
