aethercast

Try out aethercast on BQ Aquaris 4.5

Aethercast is not activated by default on BQ Aquaris 4.5.
What do I need to do in order to test it on my phone with OTA 13 installed ?

I have already run the command
setprop ubuntu.widi.supported 0

I can also scan through aethercastctl.

Do I have to download / patch the phone software ?

As I understand Ubuntus current implementation of aethercast is based on Android 5 APIs. They should be available here, right ?
