hi there am back,
ok now the problem is that whenever i try to open the package manager,either via "add or remove programs" or through the auto updater,
it says the adept manager is being used by a another program,please exit that program and then try running this one.
whats the problem ?

"Another process is using the packaging system database (probably some other Adept application or apt-get or aptitude). Please close the other application before using this one."
this is exactly the same msg that is being shown
