Connectivity problem with 2.5.1

Asked by YouKnowWho

I have a strange problem that maybe you guys have some ideas about you could throw at me. I'm running latest adch++ on Windows 7 x64 as service. Via dc++ client (it doesn't matter which, same problem with all clients) I log in to the hub, using the external IP via dyndns and loopback through my router to connect. This works fine basically, but every 3-10 minutes I get disconnected with a message
**** An established connection was aborted by the software in your host machine.

I've tentatively de-activated both firewall and anti-virus but the problem persists. External users seem to have no problem. No firewall is active in my router, just NAT.

You connect from localhost or a computer in your LAN? Does the problem persist if you use your local ip or switch to passive mode temporaroly for the test?

I connect from localhost, the problem goes away if I connect with a private IP.

It turns out the problem had to do with a buggy DHCP implementation in my router. I had set my local IP to dynamic, but bound in DHCP via MAC address. I've changed it to a fixed IP and have no more connectivity issues. Thank you.
