it loads ok here, perhaps you had a problem when extracting / copying it? try to download it again.

i was suggesting you download dixbot again, not ADCH++. the latest dixbot i have (DiXBoT v2.1 Build 2987) seems to be loading correctly here.

I'm also having this issue. Both DiXBot build 3030 and 3072 give the same error. I've tried extracting each on both Windows 7 and Linux.

i just tried again with the following latest versions:
- ADCH++ 2.8 (available on <http://builds.adcportal.com/>)
- ADCH++-PtokaX rev 94
- DiXBoT v2.1 Build 3072

loads fine, aside from minor issues with the opchat bot that i have fixed in rev 95.

can you paste the exact error message you are getting?

I also notice that I get garbage output if I try to "cat DiXBoT.lua".

the DiXBoT files are precompiled, that is why one can't edit them or view their contents with a "cat" command.

as for the error here, it is because DiXBoT files are currently only being precompiled for 32 bit systems; they can't be run on 64 bit systems. the error isn't specific to ADCH++-PtokaX: it hits 64 bit versions of PtokaX itself as well.
