linking a acbf from outside an already created archive

Asked by Adam

linking a acbf from outside an already created archive

I've been using acbfviewer to load an already created archive cbr and cbz.
I then use Inkscape to create the svg for the frame points and import them into the .acbf created by the acbfviewer.
All works well, but I am wanting to NOT change the original cbr and cbz files and just have the newly created .acbf file outside of the archive files.
I tried changing the image href links in the .acbf file to link to inside the archive file but it would not load the images.

Thank you.

Hi Adam,

path to a file inside zip/rar archive is currently not supported.
I've put this into version 1.1 specs. Syntax should be like (hope I researched this well and this should be a standard way of writing such path):

  <image href=“zip:path/to/file.zip!/path/to/file/page1.jpg>

Regarding actual implementation in ACBF Viewer for Linux/Windows/Android, it may take some time, but I've added into ToDo list among the top ones. I plan to release ACBF Viewer for Android in coming weeks, so I may add it there first.
