Ubuntu installed using Wubi inside windows 7: how to remove Wubi and Windows and install Ubuntu in a real partition

I have instaled Ubuntu 12.04 LTS using WUBI.I want to get rid of windows and use ubuntu how can i uninstal windows 7,and keep ubuntu and my sttings without having to re instal ubuntu?

I'd reinstall then use your backups of your configs. There is this guide but I've not used it:

Basically, it's really messy. If you backup /etc then reinstall you can restore your /home/$USER directory from yourbackups and then instate /etc and the system will be identical.
