I can't install programs and drivers on live-usb sys

Asked by Piotr T

I've installed "Ubuntu-Netbook 10.10" on my USB using UnetBootin with Image downloaded from ubuntu site. I've searched for solution to my problem and I can't find any that matches on this forum.

I've booted system succesfully from live-usb and I have problems with saving all updates (instalation of programs, drivers etc.). Each time I restart system it all goes again to default.

I have option to install system from ubuntu again but It wants to install it on HDD.

Anybody had the same problems and knows any solution for this problem?

I would apriciate for any answers. cheers.

For what I know, Unetbootin is designed for OS installer.
For your needs, you should have a look at: http://www.pendrivelinux.com/
