Update to mumble 1.3.2?

Asked by David Klann

Greetings!

The mumble project released their mumble client version 1.3.2 (https://github.com/mumble-voip/mumble/releases/tag/1.3.2) on 9 July 2020. This release includes a fix for the audio subsystem bug where the client always launches jackd, even if the audio device is set to something other than jackd.

Would you consider updating the Ubuntu package to mumble version 1.3.2?

Thanks!

If there are important bug fixes, then please create a bug report in the Ubuntu bug tracker.

Furthermore Ubuntu is copying packages from Debian (to avoid double packaging work).
So you should also create a bug report in the Debian bug tracker (unless such bug already exists).

Ahhh... Debian. *That* is why I was confused that I could not see the maintainer's name here on Launchpad. Thank you for clarifying for me.

I see that the Debian folks are aware of this issue and I'll continue this discussion with them.

Thanks again for your patience with me!
