Requesting update to 1.1 Release

https://github.com/horizon-eda/horizon/releases Can this package be updated to 1.1? Forgive me if I am unfamiliar with package conventions etc. as I am still learning.

https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/horizon-eda shows that the future version of Ubuntu currently in development (20.10, to be published in October) will probably have version 1.1.* (or higher).
Version upgrades in already published Ubuntu releases are done only in specific cases. For details see the FAQ that I linked in my previous comment.

Thank you for the clarification, I think I did in fact misunderstand how this works.
