Unnecessary items in the "Open with application" menu (bug)

Asked by Test

Hello

Why did these menu items appear, how can I remove them and prevent them from appearing in the future?

1 - I do not have and never had this device. How did it appear on this list?
2 - Duplicate menu items

Looks OK. Are there any bugs reported?

Is the same for all users (make a new one if you need to)?

There are no bugs reports. This happens for all users and for new users too. Can you fix this so that similar situations don't happen in the future?

Then I suggest you run:

ubuntu-bug nautilus

(I assume it's the default file manager) and report the bug. You can add your screenshot links to the bug. Remember to say it affects fresh users too (meaning it's the OS rather than per-user settings)

Please make a bug here on the launchpad so that other users can confirm it.

Can you help with this problem?
