Timekpr-client not loading/showing up, or crashing while in use

Asked by LTSmash

Hi,

I installed a while ago timekpr, and at times I notice that when someone is using the computer, the client won't show, or it will and will randomly crash aswell. What does this means? How can I be sure that users are not using more time than permitted if the client isn't running?

Thanks in advance.

Well, it should not crash! If timekpr crashes there is no way to control how much time a user is using. Are you sure timekpr is crashing? Not only timekpr-client? timekpr-client provides the small icon (red or green padlock). The client only shows time left, and has nothing to do with counting the time used and logging a user off.

In the timekpr control panel you should be able to see if timekpr is adding time to a user. Could you check this when it happens?

Could you also see if you can find a way to reproduce this? Give the exact steps to reproduce this behavior, and also what kind of restrictions the user is under.

Can you help with this problem?
