Adding New students to Classes

I have set up groups and sections. I wanted to add new students to the system. I can add a student to a group but they don't appear with in sections on the timetable. Is it possible for a new student to be added and then automatically assigned to all the sections in the same group. My example would be a class 07 for example who all have the same timetable. It seems to me that I currently have to add the new student to each of the sections. This would be time consuming as I have several new students to add to the system.
