How to save notes

Asked by Tiago Lopes de Azevedo

Finally I found software for Ubuntu (Linux) to work with my irisnotes!!! Congratulations and thank you very much!

1 - How can I save my notes? I didn't understand how to export notes on another question you answered.
2 - Table size? To work with a paper A4, what size I choose?

Thank you and congratulations again!

I'm extremely glad to hear that you find this project useful! :-)

1. The easiest way to download notes is with m210c-qt graphical user interface (GUI). To export them as svg-files, you need to use m210-export-notes command in the command line:

  m210-export-notes --input=filename_of_your_downloaded_notes directory_where_to_store_svg_files

However, downloading notes as svg files can be done easily in GUI in the next release, perhaps packaged tomorrow. I've already done most of the new work, just need to package it.

2. Tablet size controls only the size of the input are while the device is *connected*. It does not modify the area when the device
is used as a mobile (unplugged from the computer). I don't know how the note size compares to A4 though..

Stay tuned for new version releases!
